Women in Medicine Month Events • September 2018

In celebration of Women in Medicine month, the School of Medicine hosted two special events on Thursday, Sept. 27.

The first was a rotating roundtable discussion on important topics for women in medicine including women in leadership, equity in promotions, imposter phenomenon and more.

That evening there was an evening reception featuring keynote speaker, Dr. Elizabeth Raskin, an assistant professor of surgery at Loma Linda University. She discussed gender issues in surgery.
